European Battletech Championship 2015 - More then a Game

Nur noch zwei Wochen und dann geht es los:

"Zum ersten Mal findet auf deutschem Boden das European Battletech Championship statt.
Vom 4. bis zum 5. Juli seid ihr alle herzlich zur FeenCon nach Bonn / Bad Godesberg eingeladen und könnt an diesen beiden Tagen eure Kräfte im Turnier messen, aber auch mehr über das Battletech-Universum erfahren und euch an Workshops beteiligen."

So lautet mal die offizielle Einladung. Ich finde es super, daß Catalyst hier in Deutschland eine offizielle Meisterschaft anbietet, Team Trueborn es stemmt und man eigentlich nach Herzenslust sich seine Mechs wählen kann. Ich bin gespannt, was die Organisatoren der EBTC im Nachhinein berichten werden.

Nebenbei wird ein interessantes Rahmenprogramm geboten. Neulinge und altgediente Spieler dürfen sich das aktuelle und sehr erfolgreiche Spielsystem Alpha Strike zu Gemüte führen. In den Staaten der Hit und in Deutschland steht eine zweite Auflage des Grundregelbuches in den Startlöchern.

Luft-/ Raumjockeys und Raumschiffkommandanten finden Entspannung bei einer Runde Aerotech. Auch wenn dieses System leider weniger genutzt wird, gibt man sich die Mühe es euch näher zu bringen. Regeln dazu könnt ihr im Total Warfare und im alten Kompendium finden. Bei den Modellen bin ich selber zwiegespalten und würde lieber per Firestorm Armada proxen, aber das ist ein anderes Thema. Vielleicht gibt es demnächst auch mal eine Demo nach Alpha Strike, aber da sind leider noch nicht alle Unit Cards in der Masterunitlist eingearbeitet.

Also, kommt hin, auch wenn es kurzentschlossen sein mag und genießt die EBTC und die FeenCon.

So time is the official invitation. I think it's great that Catalyst offers here in Germany an official championship, Team True Born is caulked and you really to your heart can choose his Mechs. I am curious what the organizers of the EBTC will report the fact.

Besides an interesting program is offered. Newbies and veteran players the current and highly successful game system Alpha Strike can look to heart. In the countries of the hit and in Germany there is a second edition of the basic rule book in the starting blocks.

Aviation / Space Jockeys and spaceship commander can relax with a game of Aerotech. Although this system is, unfortunately, less used, is added to bring it nearer to you the trouble. Rules to you can be found in Total Warfare and the old compendium. The models I myself am ambivalent and would rather Proxen per Firestorm Armada, but that's another topic. Perhaps there will soon be time for a demo Alpha Strike, but there are not yet incorporated all Unit Cards in the Master Unit List.
