Windows 8 - Hop oder Top?

Mein Windows läuft ja nun schon einige Zeit und arbeitet recht gut. Warum wählte ich diesen Blogtitel? Naja, da gibt es zum Beispiel die Treiberprobleme. Viele Hersteller haben immer noch keinen passenden Treiber für Windows 8 parat. Dies trifft mich hauptsächlich am Nettop PC, der mir auch schon 3 mal abstürzte. Eine mögliche Ursache ist mein Chronotel  Treiber, den ich nun wieder in der Windows 7 Version aufspielen muß. Ich kann ihn doch nicht komplett vom System entfernen.

Auch gibt es zwi System Apps, die mich mächtig gewaltig nerven. Einmal dieser Fotobetrachter und das Videoprogramm. Die schreiben sich einfach über die Grundeinstellung (VLC Player für Video und Windows Foto zur Bildbetrachtung. Also hab ich die komplett deinstalliert. Nun ist alles wie gewohnt. Der Onboard Videoplayer war die reinste Nervensäge. Die Videos liefen nicht flüssig, eigentlich gar nicht. Das war eine sinnlose App. Das Selbige sage ich zum Fotobetrachter!

Nachdem ich nun Negativ eingestiegen bin, nehm ich nun auch etwas Positives auf. Grundsätzlich bin ich begeistert von Windows 8. Nachdem man alles wieder im Reinen hat, läuft es prima und macht Spaß. Für normale PC´s und Laptops hätte man sich zwar die Modern UI mitunter sparen können, da ja fast alle Programme per Desktop ablaufen. Zumindest bei mir (alle Browser, Email, Avidemux, Videoanwendungen, Open Office etc)!

Absolut super ist der Systemstart und die Arbeitsweise des Betriebssystemes. Schneller Start, schneller Aufruf der Anwendungen und unnötige Tasks / Anwendungen werden sofort geschlossen, ohne daß man etwas am Autostart oder in der Diensteinstellung ändern müßte. Da hat Microsoft eine sehr gute Arbeit geleistet.

Etwas länger benötigt man im Bereich Bedienung. Über manches stolpert man rein zufällig. Okay, ich gestehe, daß ich lieber selber mein Betriebssystem erkunde, als daß ich mir ellenlange Anleitungen und langweilige Videos bei You Tube ansehe. Nicht immer war das ausreichend, aber mittlerweile ahne ich, wo was versteckt ist. Bei Anwendungen im Bereich Modern UI muß man eigentlich nur Richtung Charmbar gehen und entdeckt dort die Einstellungen zu den einzelnen Apps, wenn diese aufgerufen sind. Dies gilt ebenso für die Suchoption.

Hat man sich zurecht gefunden, kommt man gut mit Windows klar. Eindeutig ist, daß Windows 8 eher für Tablets und Smartphones geeignet ist. Mit dem Tablet macht mir die tägliche Arbeit mehr spaß. Ist ja keine Arbeit, sondern ein Hobbie. Normales Zeitung lesen (News und PC Zeitung) ist einfach angenehmer per Tablet. Da kann man doch richtig auf der Couch lümmeln und entspannen. Spielen der UI Apps machen am Tablet eher Spaß und das Surfen sowie so.

Nur das Bloggen erledige ich lieber am Nettop PC, da der Bildschirm doch eindeutig besser geeignet ist, als so ein 10 Zoller. Auch die normale Tastatur ist immer noch von Vorteil. Die Touchtastatur ist enweder zu schnell oder hat mal einen Buchstaben vergessen. Da muß ich etwas mehr aufpassen.

Windows 8 versucht ja eher auf Tablets abzuzielen, aber der App Store verwundert mich immer wieder auf´s Neue. Unzählige Apps bzw Programme werden als Desktop App deklariert. Also braucht man immer den Desktop! Ich hoffe, daß sich das ändert. Normale Bildbearbeitung gibt es nur (ich rede da von Photoshop und dergleichen) beim Hersteller per Download. Die App des Stores leitet euch einfach weiter. Finde ich nicht gelungen.

 Beim Durchstöbern der Rubriken wurde ich auch nicht fündig. Viele Apps machen am PC keinen Sinn und auch für das Tablet findet man nicht viel (okay, Geschmäcker sind verschieden). Ich hatte da mal einen DSL Speedtest, der mich eher verwirrte als informierte. Schaut man bei Google Play nach, wird man schon eher fündig. Jedoch bin ich zuversichtlich, daß sich dies ändern wird. Spätestens, wenn mehr Windows Phone verkauft wird.

Für mich persönlich sehe ich Windows 8 eher als Top. Natürlich mit den üblichen Startmacken eines neuen Betriebssystemes. Wie ist eure Meinung? Schreibt sie doch mal in den Kommentaren rein. Ich würde mich über euer Feedback freuen.

After I have now also entered negative, I take now to something positive. Basically, I am excited about Windows 8 After everything was back at peace, it runs great and is fun. For normal PCs and laptops you could, although the Modern UI can sometimes save, since almost all of the programs run by desktop. At least for me (all browsers, email, Avidemux, video applications, OpenOffice, etc)!

Absolutely superb, the startup and operation of the operating system. Quick start, quick call to the applications and unnecessary tasks / applications will be closed immediately, without that one would have to change something on startup or in the service setting. Because Microsoft has done a very good job.It takes a little longer in operation. You stumble across some random. Okay, I confess that I prefer to explore my own operating system, as I look at that incredibly long and boring instructions videos on You Tube. Not always it was enough, but now I can guess what's hidden. For applications in the field of Modern UI you have to actually go only towards Charmbar and discovers the settings for the individual apps when they are called. This also applies to the search option.

If you manage to find, you get along well with Windows. Clearly, is that Windows 8 is more suitable for tablets and smartphones. The Tablet gives me the daily work more fun. Yes is not work, but a hobbie. Normal reading newspapers (News newspaper and PC) is pleasant per tablet. This gives us the right slouch on the couch and relax. Games of the UI apps make the tablet more fun and surfing as well as SunOnly blogging I'll do better on Nettop PC, since the screen is clearly better suited but, as so a 10 incher. Also the normal keyboard is still advantageous. The touch keyboard is enweder too fast or has ever forgotten a letter. Since I have a bit more attention.

Windows 8 attempts yes rather aiming for tablets, but the App Store surprises me again and again anew. Countless apps or programs to be declared as a desktop app. So you always need the desktop! I hope that will change. Is it just the normal image editing (I talking about Photoshop and the like) from the manufacturer via download. The app in the store you simply forwards. I think not succeeded.

 While browsing the headings I was not successful. Many apps do not make sense on a PC and also for the tablet you will not find much (okay, tastes are different). I was there once a DSL speed test, the more confused than informed me. When you look at Google Play, you will find even more. However, I am confident that this will change.
