Irgendwie bin ich spät dran mit diesem Update, aber es paßt. Die erfreuliche Nachricht zuerst: Laut Wochenrückblick und Aussage von Michael Mingers ist das Tactical Operations bei Ulisses eingetroffen. Wohl 7mm zu klein, aber mich soll es nicht stören. Also, nicht wütend sein Michael. Auf jeden Fall ist es prima, daß dieses Werk nun auch als Print erscheint. Wieso erinnert es mich an "Odyssee im Weltraum", wenn ich gerade darüber nachdenke?
Sehr gut ist auch, daß das Alpha Strike Kompendium, das Feldhandbuch SBVS und die geplanten Romane im Soll sind und das stimt mich positiv. Der Lagebericht wird hoffentlich bereits nachgedruckt, damit er wieder im Handel erhältlich ist.
Absolut ein Muß für den Chaos Kampagne Fan ist das still und ohne Tamtam übersetzte Werk Chaos Campaign. ( http://www.ulisses-spiele.de/sortiment/tabletop/battletech/downloads/ ) Hier gelingt dann der Spagat Alpha Strike und normales Battletech zu verknüpfen. Das interessiert mich sehr und ich denke, daß ich mir mal nach der IBC dies zu Gemüte führe.
So, nun kommt noch ein wichtiges Update für Battletech Fans. Im Rahmen der Indersdorfer Battletech Convention streckte ich auch die Fühler Richtung Funtainment München aus. Dabei kam interessanter Weise ein sehr positives Feedback in Bezug auf Battletech rüber. Das Games In hat in München dicht gemacht und nun möchte das Funtainment Battletech in sein Sortiment aufnehmen. Dies soll in Verbindung mit Battletech Spielen in München geschehen. Aktuell kenne ich zwar nur 4 Leute, die das Angebot nutzen möchte, aber ich denke, da geht mehr. Bei FB / Battletech.info gibt es auf jeden Fall noch ein "Opfer", daß ich noch anschreibe. Der entsprechende Spieler hat mich da bereits gelöchert, wo denn in München gespielt wird.
Wenn alles klappt, werden wir einen Spielesamstag im Monat einrichten. Doch das muß ich erst einmal mit den Leuten besprechen. Natürlich auch mit dem Funtainment. Deshalb bin ich am Montag im Funtainment, auch wenn Roland bereits schon vor Ort war. Also, auch hier im Süden geht was.
Somehow I'm late with this update, but it fits. The good news first: According Week in Review and testimony of Michael Minger the Tactical Operations has arrived at Ulisses. Well 7mm too small, but it should not disturb me. So, do not be angry with Michael. In any case, it is great that this work will now appear in print. Why it reminds me of "Space Odyssey" when I just think about it?
Very good is also that the Alpha Strike compendium Field Manual SLDF and the planned novels set in and are the stimt me positive. The annual report will hopefully already reprinted, so that it is available in stores again.

With FB / Battletech.info there is definitely still a "victim" that I still anschreibe. The corresponding player has already pestered me since, where it is played in Munich.
If all goes well, we will set up a game Saturday of the month. But I must first of all discuss with the people. Of course, with the Funtainment. That's why I'm on Monday in Funtainment even if Roland had been already in place. So, even here in the south of what is going on.
